Other Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities are available for those with interests, talents and any available time to give to the Drake House Museum.
A large corps of volunteers work behind the scenes to bring the public a variety of exhibits and special programs and to enhance
their knowledge about the history and culture of the area.
For those interested in
serving as museum guides, we offer extensive training on the artifacts and furnishings of the Drake House Museum.
There is also a need for volunteers to help in areas such as research and development of exhibits, collection maintenance,
assistance with genealogical requests, telephone and writing jobs, and the preparation and coordination of seasonal historical
programs and fundraisers. Please contact us if you are interested in fulfilling a volunteer opportunity.
