We will be open until the second phase of restoration begins this summer.  We are open Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 1:oo p.m. and Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. We are also open during the week by appointment.  We will post the closing date as soon as we know when the work will begin.

 

 

 

The Historical Society of Plainfield received funding from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs in the Department of State through a grant administered by the Union County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, the City of Plainfield, the Plainfield Cultural and Heritage Commission, McCutchen Foundation, the Plainfield Foundation, the Union Foundation, EJ Grassmann Trust, the Pond Foundation and the New Jersey Cultural Trust Fund.
